Present Progressive: |
|
|
|
|
|
To make the present progressive tense in Spanish, we use a conjugated form of “estar” and the present participle of the verb. |
|
|
|
|
|
To form the present progressive participle, we add “ –ando” for “ –ar” verbs and “ –iendo” to “-ir” verbs and “-er” verbs. |

We use command forms of verbs to give orders, requests or tell someone not to do some something. The people the familiar commands are used for are people whom which you would use the tu form of the verb. The affirmative tu command of regular verbs is the same as the usted form of present tense. |
